1. The Navy Day which is observed on 4 December every year is usually held in New Delhi in presence of the Commander in Chief, President of India.

2. Senior bureaucrat Sanjay Malhotra assumed the charge as the secretary in the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance on 1 December 2022. Sanjay Malhotra replaced Tarun Bajaj, who retired on 30 November 2022.

3. International Lusophone Festival is being held from 3 to 6 December 2022 in goa.

4. Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiradity Scindia has inaugurated multiple flights to expand the connectivity to the northeastern region.The flights are operated by Indigo and Alliance Air.

5. According to the Knight Frank report released Mumbai was ranked at 22nd rank in ‘Prime Global Cities Index Q3 (July-September) 2022.

6. As per it, the Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR) has declined from 130 per lakh live births in 2014-16 to 97 per lakh live births in 2018-20.Assam has the highest MMR of 195 while Kerala has the lowest of 19 per lakh live births.

7. Indian Coast Guard Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Mk-III squadron was commissioned by DG VS Pathaniaon at ICG Air Station, Chennai.

8. World’s first Intranasal Vaccine, Bharat Biotech's iNCOVACC has received approval for Covid booster doses from Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI).

9. The tenure of India’s Ambassador to the US, Taranjit Singh Sandhu, has been extended for a year till January 31, 2024 by the government of India. Sandhu was to retire in January 2023.

10. The Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia inaugurated the Digi Yatra facility at the IGI Airport in New Delhi on 1 December 2022. This facility has also been simultaneously launched at the Kempegowda International Airport Bangalore, and the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Varanasi.
